Jazz great Houston Person
Houston is the great jazz saxophonist Houston Person, on stage at the Broward Center January 11 for the Gold Coast Jazz Society. Houston is one of the greatest sax players of our time, a troubadour of the tenor and to make the evening even more exciting, he's joined on stage by local luminary Shelley Berg and his trio. Houston plays every genre from disco to gospel but he's rooted in jazz and that's what Lyn focuses on in his concert preview at 7pm in the JM Family Studio Theater. This intimate space is an ideal venue to share stories and inspirations before strolling to the Amaturo Theater for the evening's concert.
